Entrepreneur
As a matter of fact, Network Marketing is a fully-fledged business. For example, if you were a bookkeeper – or a surveyor, or a newly graduated juror, engineer, architect, accountant, physical therapist or doctor, or a masseur, hairdresser, make-up artist, or beautician – and if you decided to start your own business, instead of looking for a job, you would most probably have to rely on your parents, or family. You might then decide to buy or rent an appropriate business space, furnish it and eventually put a plate with your name on it. Of course, this would not be enough to have people knock on your door and ask for your service. The entire family would then put effort into INFORMING as many people as they can reach, that you have just set up your new business. If your activity were not taking off, the family would probably have to fuel more funds into it, and finance all kinds of publicity, which is often quite costly, without any guarantee of success. In Italy, if a young family member decides to pursue a career in politics, the family starts looking for more or less distant or forsaken family members, friends and connoisseurs to dish out pictures of saints to.
However, if a son becomes a Networker, although he does not have to invest money, the family will most probably decide not to support him. On the contrary, they will often avoid him, as if he were contagious. Yet, more jobs are being created within Network Marketing than permanent positions and they are actually more permanent. So, the novice Networker has to manage on his own or with the help of his Sponsor or a Manager from his Up Line who may back him up during the first appointments and get in touch with the people from his Names List, which, in general, gives good results and is a good communication practice. This activity is, in fact, not about sales, but about communication, as
NOBODY IS BORN AS AN EXPERT,
as they say in Naples. Many wish to know everything, and are reluctant to start because they never feel ready enough. You have to dare, instead of wasting your time, as
WE LARN BY MAKING MISTAKES.
If you distribute leaflets, you will get in touch with more people and fix more appointments. Physical activity, like climbing up and down the stairs, is good for you. You can attend health and personal wellness or alternative therapy events. Associations, clubs, gyms, beauty parlors, wellness centers and the like… the choice is really endless – there are over 60 million people in Italy and more than 7 billion in the world.
Forever Living Products (FLP) puts at your disposal today resources and tools that were unthinkable in 1999, such as catalogues, manuals, brochures, leaflets, video clips and PowerPoint presentations of FLP Products and the FLP Business, free education held by Managers and Experts in the field and more… The pioneers started from scratch, but many of them have become very successful, nevertheless.
Our work has been greatly simplified by the advent of the internet and Social Networks.
To think of it, we meet people every day and it is sufficient to let them know, discreetly, that you started a new business after you had discovered some superb products, and above all the extraordinary
ALOE VERA by FOREVER LIVING PRODUCTS.
FLP can not support you with their publicity. But publicity does not necessarily imply quality.
FLP gives you a good worth of money per every single item if you spread the word about their state-of-the-art products, so that people can use them regularly, and especially if you encourage others to do the same. FLP certainly has the funds to pay the best possible commissions.
Many people complain because, although they have talked to a great number of people, they have seen no results at all. Well, one should not despair: those who declined you yesterday could accept your proposal tomorrow. It takes time and work to transform a NO into a YES. All the encounters that did not yield results the first time should be registered in a database – with names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, information, etc. Research has shown that people need to
HEAR THE SAME INFORMATION 7 TIMES ON THE AVERAGE.
This does not mean that you have to reiterate the same thing 7 times. They may hear the same information from someone else or on TV, read about it in the newspapers or magazines. Therefore, we should not take it personally, as the first, instinctive reaction people normally have is to try to get rid of you, with whatever excuse comes to their mind, like I HAVE NO TIME, THIS IS NOT MY PROFESSION, I AM NOT GOOD AT SELLING, I HAVE VERY FEW FRIENDS, I ALREADY WORK A LOT, and so on and so forth. But, by that time, you have made a contact and registered his or her data.
After a while, depending on the situation and the person, you can send an email, or a letter, or a leaflet, or make a phone call. You might be able to fix another appointment. You might find out, in a month, a year, 2 years, or in 10 years, that he or she heeds your advice, having learned something more about FLP, or his/her health or financial situation changed, so her/his opinion is no longer the sam. You have to be methodical, without being obsessive; otherwise, you might discover that the person has been sponsored by someone else. In any case, you should focus on something you might have missed mentioning the first time, like for example that the earnings are EXEMPT FROM INCOME TAX, that there is NO NEED FOR CAPITAL INVESTMENT, THE BUSINESS CAN BE PASSED ON TO HEIRS, AN ADDITIONAL PENSION CAN BE ACCRUED, there is a MATERNITY CHECK, and so on.
